Just a quick update regarding video on this blog.
Just a quick update regarding video on this blog.
Camera used: Canon 7D & 24-70L @ 70mm – Settings: 5sec / f18 / ISO 100 – 1 flash behind & 1 LED to camera left.
Often when I see a photo I like I wonder what camera & lens were used and what settings the photographer had set. With this in mind I have decided to add this information with each photo I post on here. You will find the information directly under the each photo. This information is easy enuf to find if you know where to look, but this will just make it a little easier.
Camera: Canon 7D & 50L – Settings: 1/250th // f5.6 // ISO 100. 1 550EX through an umbrella to camera left & one bare 550EX directly behind.
1. Where are you from?
Originally, I’m from a small farming community south of Brooks called Rainier (Alberta, Canada).
2. Why did you moved to Calgary of all places?
I moved here to go to university and I’m still going to school!
3. Do you like living in Calgary?
I have to say I wish it were warmer! Summers are a bit too cool for me and winters are definitely waaay too cold! That said, it’s my first experience living in a city, so I have to say it has been pretty good overall.
4. What is it about Calgary that you like?
It is so much easier to access arts events! And grocery stores and pretty much everything else too (compared to home anyway). Arts events take the cake for me though.
5. What do you like to do for fun?
Well music is probably my number one ‘fun’ activity. I love performing and seek out new opportunities whenever I can.
6. If you had to describe Calgary to some one, what would you say?
Well it seems to bridge country and city. Returning from travel adventures, I’ve definitely noticed a more country-ish vibe, but it definitely feels city-ish coming back from home.
7. Have you ever ridden a horse?
Yup! Not in recent years though 🙂
8. Anything you’d like to add?
Hmm…I can’t think of anything else but probably will after this is published!

Sorry it has been so long between posts! I just wanted to give you guys an update as to what is going on with the blog. First of all, I went back to BC for Christmas so I wasn’t in town to find any people to talk to and take pictures of. Second, I have tried asking people and have found my self in a “I just asked a girl on a date and she said no” type of situation haha. Only this is happening in front of loads people on public streets and such! Making it even worse lol. It has been quite unnerving to say the least.
The blog will live on! I went out again yesterday to ask some people and only found the nerve to ask one person and yet again she said no. I am sure I would have found some one if I had more than 20 minutes to get it done or I wasn’t such a coward and just asked the people I want to ask when I see them, rather than look at them with a double take and watch them walk past me and out of my life before they enter it. Oh well! haha. I have a little more spare time today, so I am going to take my camera and iphone and make sure I find at least one person downtown willing to talk to me for this blog! 🙂
I thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get me on here and out of the way early on in the blog. This way if anyone is so inclined to know how I might answer these questions, here they shall be 😉
